WIP Wednesday: Lusk Tee

18 June 2025

It's summer and I've slowed down on the knitting but am still working away on some things. I've finished some socks and a shawl and now I'm back to my love, garment knitting. This is the body of the Lusk Tee by Rebecca Clow. It's a drop shoulder, loose gauge tee, the sister of her Tolsta pattern which I knit last year. I used the leftover from my Tolsta to knit this, getting another color in order make a striped Lusk.

After getting over the fiddly parts of this one and into the body, it's gone quite quickly. I'll be knitting 3/4 sleeves on this, since I don't wear summer knits, it'll be more of a shoulder season piece for me and something to layer over tank tops in colder AC environments. The yarn is Line by Sandnes Garn, which I also love, the mix of linen and cotton with a touch of viscose makes it drapey, especially at this gauge.

A cream and green top lays on a wooden surface with no sleeves or collar, the stripes are narrow and the ribbing is in green.
