WIP Wednesday

It’s harder to do a WIP Wednesday with a sewing project, but this pile of cut fabric is my WIP this week. Cutting is the part of the process of sewing that I dislike the most so to have all the various pieces cut out for the exterior, the lining, and the interfacing feels good. This is the beginnings of the Buckthorn Backpack. It’ll be a slow sew as it’s a larger bag therefore a bit more complicated. I’m excited for the finished product which will hopefully travel around with me and walk through many cities as we explore in the future.

On a wood floor, there are sets of rectangles of fabric, held by clips, with small tags on them. Some fabric is a bright green, others are a light paisley print, that's gray and white.
