FO: Rika Pants
I finished these pants back in March but I didn't get a photo until recently and I've found it's best to wait to talk about patterns until I really know what I think about them. I love these pants. I've worn them a ton, they went to London and were the absolutely perfect pants for walking 20,000 steps in a day around a city. The pockets are deep and I could fit my phone in one and in the other I had my camera and it was perfect. They're comfortable and easy to wear, with a high waist, but not too high. Highly recommend this pattern. These are the Rika Pants by Closet Core Patterns. My modifications were to grade from a 12 waist to a 10 at the hip, but I also have a large gaping back adjustment to the waistband. I didn't do all the extra carpenter pockets. These are made in a Cotton Herringbone from Stonemountain and Daughter Fabrics. I'll be making at least two more pairs, one in a denim and one in the cropped version with the twisted belt loops.
