FO Friday: Sollas

16 October 2026

It's been a while since I've finished anything because with travel and some other things happening I haven't been knitting and sewing as much. This is the Sollas by Rebecca Clow and it's the third pattern I've made of hers at this gauge and with Sandnes Garn Line. I love this yarn, it's the perfect blend for where I live to get a lot of wear out of the garments. This pattern is a new favorite, I may even make it in a DK weight wool for winter. I've become a huge fan of set-in-sleeves, they fit me so well. I made this to go with everything and be able to throw on over tees and tanks on cooler evenings and to wear once the weather finally cools down here (will that ever happen?). I'm wearing the Sollas with my beloved TNT pattern, the Pietra Shorts. Photo taken by G.

A woman stands in front of trees with one hand on her hip and the other hand in her front right pocket. She's wearing brown framed glasses and her hair is curly and blonde. She's got a slight smile on her face as she slightly tilts her head to the left. She's wearing a dark gray crew neck sweater with long sleeves and light denim colored shorts.
