FO Friday: Montage Shawl

It’s Friday and I’ve got photos so here we are posting a finished object on the right day. I finished this last month but I’ve been very far behind on taking photos of things and then posting here. I talked about this one in a current wips post, with lots of details, but suffice it to say I really enjoyed knitting this one. I wore it last night to knit night and several people asked about the pattern which is always a good sign. I used Swanky Sock from Magpie Fibers in the colors Juniper Rising and Rise if you Want To. The yarn and the pattern went together so well and after a good block things relaxed and it’s incredibly soft, perfect to wear around the neck. I ended up with a 60” wingspan, so a really perfect width for winding around my neck. The pattern is by Jen Schuetz.

Over the back of a chair that is in front of a light gray wall, a triangular shawl hangs that is dark green and gray. The pattern on the shawl is angular lines of color that make small squares and rectangles. The chair is facing away from the viewer and there is a striped cushion on the seat. To the left of the picture you can see a shade over a window.
