Sheep Camp Sweater and Morgan Jeans

These are my last finished objects of 2023, since I won’t finish what’s currently on my needles by the end of the year and I have no plans to sew anything before January. I absolutely love both of these pieces, they fit so well and I’ve already been wearing the jeans a lot. The Sheep Camp used up leftovers from my Shiftigan, which is something that’s been a goal of mine this year, to use up what I have.

For the Morgans I made some more pattern adjustments based on the fit of my first pair since 100% cotton fabric stretches so much as you wear it. In addition to the low seat adjustment I did for the last pair, I did a gaping back adjustment. I took out 1” on the top of the waistband to curve it in even more and I took out 1/8” on the top of each back yoke piece. This worked really well and I think I’ve nailed the fit for future pairs. This is one of the things I love about sewing, I’m always able to adjust and tweak and make patterns better when I made them for a second or even third time.
